A ride through joy and sorrow

Chapter One It was a warm sunny afternoon in Collinsville, where Melissa and Jose were walking hand in hand with each other in his rose garden at his mansion. Jose was Melissa’s first boyfriend, even though Jose had many girlfriends before her, Melissa was very special to him. He loved her dearly. Melissa and Jose were the happiest couple ever, and then everything seemed to change when his stepbrother from hell moved to Collinsville from Indiana. Dan his stepbrother was a major jerk, who went to any extent to ruin Jose’s life. Even after Jose beat Dan up and told him to back off, he still ruined Jose’s life. He even went to the extent to go and talk to Melissa to get Jose and her to break up, because he was jealous of what they had together. Then Jose found out what he did, but nothing happened so he just ignored it. So Melissa and Jose were together for almost a year. The whole time they were in the same building they were with each other. Then about a week before their one year anniversary on that warm sunny afternoon they had stopped under the old apple tree to sit down in the shade. She had turn to look at him to say that she wanted to break up, but before she could spit it out, he cut in and told her for the first time that he loved her and had loved her from the very first time he met her. Then he asked her what she was going to say. She was a little uneasy about saying it now but she went on and told him that she wanted to break up.
