I am sure that I speak for the entire senior class when I say: “Finally!” This is the day that we have all anticipated. We have counted down for weeks. “One-hundred more days. Twenty more days. Five more days.” Those days seemed to creep by at the time; now it is difficult to see where the time went. I remember when we came to _______ High School as freshman. We were all timid but our new-found freedom fascinated us. High school seemed to offer so much more: a larger array of electives, sports and activities. We had so many options and most of us have took advantage of them. As we have grown, though, the world has also offered much more to us. Many of us drive now and go out on weekends with our friends. Quite a few of us even date. This year we have explored-in depth-who we are and what we feel. To do these things makes us adults. Although we have all this freedom we still sometimes feel like we are mere children.
