Asian Americans: The Most Stereotyped Minority
All minorities in America are stereotyped as being a certain way. However, the Asian-American minority is labeled more strictly than any other minority is. ... Asian-American society is far different than American society, so the Asian Americans are wrongly stereotyped for being unique. Society tends to categorize all Asian Americans as mathematical geniuses. ... Another label that has been placed upon Asian Americans is the idea that they are all martial arts students. This absurd notion comes from the fact that some Asian Americans practice martial arts but that does not justify the ignorant thought that every Asian American partakes in this activity. American society stereotypes Asian Americans into a certain mold because of their unique and different culture.
