The Definition of Intelligence
Throughout life, people have been instilled with the need to feel better about themselves. ... The unclear stepping stone to self improvement, though, is how to tell when intelligence is achieved. The main reason it is tough to know when intelligence is achieved is because there are many different definitions of intelligence. Webster’s dictionary defines intelligence as “the ability to respond quickly and successfully to a new situation". This definition leaves room to build on the many aspects of intelligence because people are intelligent in different ways. Intelligence can be looked at from two different aspects. There is scholarly intelligence, and there is common sense intelligence.
The first side of intelligence is the side that deals with scholarly intelligence. This form of intelligence is based on the ability to take in information and deal with it in a logical and routine manner.
