Health Care
Health care should be a right not a privilege. ... We want to enhance our current health care system by building a more modern, sustainable system. We also want to hear our citizens’ voices and input we can do this by creating a citizens council on health care. We’re going to make health spending more accountable for, by releasing annual reports to the citizens of Canada. So that citizens can view how poor or how great our health is. Our party also wants to increase health care funding. ... We need to fund health research more than we have been, especially in specific areas such as cancer, and diabetes. ... We want better health research to meet the needs of a changing population. I guarantee you that our party is going to please everyone in health care.
