The term family defines many things overall to different people for example someone you are related to by blood or marriage, someone you can trust or someone who will always be there for you.
Family in a whole can be a good for many reasons but unfortunately for some it may determine abuse, finance trouble and stress which lead to unhappiness. ...
The main reason for family in my opinion is reproduction but without family, this would cause major conflict such as women sleeping with different men and having many different fathers to her children.
Our families also function so that they give us a sense of belonging because our identity depends on our family name and genes such as you may have the same build, eyecolour and hair as a parent or sibling.
