Illegal Immigrants in Australia
In Australia today we are having a very big problem with illegal immigrants. At the moment we are getting a lot of illegal immigrants or asylum seekers as we like to call them, embarking on our shores. The reason for this is that these immigrants think they will get a better life in Australia because they are fleeing their country due to the many wars and the immense poverty. ... They become illegal when they arrive on Australian shores without proper visas or passports. ...
I believe that these immigrants shouldn’t be allowed to come into Australia with put proper paperwork. ... There have been a lot of incidents in the last two years concerning these immigrants in the detention centers. ... The detention centers in Australia are mainly used to keep the immigrants while they are being processed and decided whether to be sent back to their country or if they can organize a temporary visa and stay in Australia. ... I believe that the Australian government should get its act together and sort this problem out with the whole illegal immigrant issue.
