There are many risks involved by not wearing a helmet. There should be laws enforcing it to be illegal not to wear a helmet under any circumstances. The helmet law, should it bee legal. The legal system requires a helmet to be worn for all 2 or 3-wheeled vehicles. Does this requirement violate individual laws or does it save lives. Statistically it is proven that when in accidents people that were wearing a helmet that they suffered less injuries than the person not wearing a helmet. Some say that the reason of injury was due to wearing the helmet. It is different in every case, was the person wearing the helmet correctly, were they really even wearing a helmet at all. No matter what your opinion is, stats say that wearing a helmet will always surpass then not wearing a helmet in life or death accidents. In all the states that did conjoin to the helmet law, deaths have not been as severe as when there was no helmet law at all. You compare and do the math, which one is safer. What are some of the risk factors of not wearing a helmet while you are riding on an opened 2 or 3-wheeled vehicle? You could easily crash and hit your head or further damaging your body. You could be killed in the accident or you could be paralyzed for life. And most of all you could be fined or maybe even go to jail for a while for not wearing a helmet. Not wearing a helmet is just as bad as not wearing a seatbelt. Some say that while they were in the accident that due to the fact that they were wearing a helmet that it did not give all amount need to see correctly.
