Drilling Threat in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
My topic of interest was the drilling threat in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. ... Every Alaskan oil drilling involves spillage of oil. ... My opinion is that drilling in the Arctic Refuge will not change the United State’s oil dependence because the amount of oil that can be drilled from there will only be enough to last the country for six months, and it will only limit the need of foreign oil to 50%. Basically the oil drilling will only be killing a beautiful preserved wildlife for oil sources that will take 10 years to get to market just to last 6 months. ... So the United States has a good chance of not getting much oil at all from the drilling.
