Arthur Anderson and Their Role in the Downfall of Enron
During the time before the secrete of Enron was revealed many people in and out of the company knew what was happening and did not do a thing about it. It turned out that one of the major companies that helped Enron do this was their own accounting firm.
This accounting firm “Arthur Anderson” was considered one of the best in its field. This Chicago based firm was founded by Arthur Anderson in the late twenties. Arthur was the youngest Public Accountant in Illinois.
