I'm requesting your permission to include your papers or excerpts from them for educational purposes on web sites, in writing textbooks, course packets and other types of publications. As you know, it is often helpful for students to have examples of what to do when writing papers, and examples of student work are especially effective. I will use excerpts from your papers to illustrate principles of writing. All excerpts will be used anonymously. If I use an entire paper as an example for other students to follow, I will include your name unless you indicate in your reply that you want all papers to be used anonymously.
