Education is the key to proactive thinking and establishing a foundation for further advancement whether it be career advancement or personal advancement. To me an “educated person” is one who continually seeks self improvement through higher education or by using other resources available to improve ones knowledge base. ... To accomplish this, the “educated person” must learn through life’s experiences and work diligently to prevent history from repeating itself.

Having outlined the basis for a firm foundation of the knowledge base I feel an educated person needs, what will the benefits be in a society that is ever changing? A truly “educated person,” brings to the table, a logical thought process which will be used for making decisions which will impact his or her life and in turn impact those around them. ...

Now let’s look at the “educated person’ who has a logical thought process, and has researched the outcome of the decision to install a new kitchen. Logically analyzing income versus payments, the “educated person’ can see on paper that this decision is not the right one to make at this time, and furthermore realizes, that with waiting a while longer, interest rates may be down and income may be up through hard work and diligence. ... It provides you with all the information you need to make the right choices for yourself and supplies all the pertinent information and flexibility to transform you from an “educated person” to a “college educated person”.
