This article provides a marketing technique through which managers would be able to have multidimensional view of the future, enabling them to devise a better strategy for their company. GIS (geographic information systems) is a tool that takes the data that companies normally enters into spreadsheets or data bases, and converts it into geographic maps. The GIS info map for a marketing department could be a map showing varying customers bases or various sales volumes in different regions.
