A recent problem that the hospitality industry has run into is the differences between the Baby Boomers and Generation X. Relating to Generation Y can pose even more challenges. In the survey “The Hospitality Work Force: Current Values and Motivations: Perspectives of Hotel Professionals”, two-thirds of those surveyed reported “significant differences of employee age 24 to 38” (Generation X) versus “those younger than 24” (Generation Y). ...
