Each person has shadows that they run from. Everyone has things that are heard in the night that brings back unhappiness and loneliness. Elaine Brown was no different. During her struggle for power in a world of segregation and racism, she dealt with countless memories and feelings that continued to haunt her. She had a lot of love missing from her life and she searched for it in all different places. Brown searched the arms of various men for what was missing in her life. She explored the streets and the revolutions that were taking place across the nation. Brown found herself in many compromising situations that further lead to her misplaced love. Being a Black Panther member, she found herself in several different beds with several different men.
