Living in New York City I just happened to be able to experience living in the most exciting city in America - New York City. The city is a place where all cultures, nations, races mix together, and where many interesting events are taking place. This is also the place where a big contrast between wealth and poverty is noticeable. The first time when I came to New York, was almost two years ago. Back then I was visiting my friend who lived pretty close to the city. I spent only three days there, most of the time on sightseeing and I must confess that New York did not impress me at all. But now I know you just cannot judge anything after such a short time , especially when you consider a city that is so huge. It has been five months since I moved to New York and now I have better knowledge about the place. In New York you may meet people from all over the world. Most of the immigrants live in their own communities, in their own districts .Chinese people have their Chinatown, Italians have Little Italy, even people from Poland, where I come from, have their district - Greenpoint.
