CASE STUDY ________________________________________________________________________ Situation: In this case we are trying to test four subjects. 1. Man driving with woman giving directions from map. 2. Woman driving with man giving directions from map. 3. Man driving with woman that knows directions without map. 4. Woman driving with man that knows directions without map. What we are trying to find here is that there is a difference between men and women that give directions. The reason why there are two different tests of knowing and not knowing directions is to tell if the person giving the directions uses landmarks, streets, or direction (North, South, etc.) Most of the tests that I have noticed have not involved people that know the directions because if someone doesn’t know the directions they cant use landmarks that easily because they don’t know where they are going.
