Water is ultimately a finite resource and hence should be conserved at every opportunity in the home and garden. For this assignment I used the usually amount of water I would each day for three consecutive days whereas for the next three consecutive days I tried to conserve water and hence use less than I normally would. ...
During both periods most water was used in the bathroom as I expected, although this is unrealistic as most family homes appliances such as a dishwasher or washing machine would be in usage nearly every day and therefore a lot more water would be used in the kitchen. The results show that my average daily water consumption did decrease during the second period (conserving water) compared with the first period.
