Four Source Theory
The four source theory has to do with the four authors of the Old Testament. Four authors cam together to create the bible. These four authors wrote at different times in history and gathered their information in different ways including different interpretations. The four authors are the J author, E author, D author, and P author. ...
As you can see even though there is only one Old Testament it is written in varying ways depending on which of the four authors wrote the story.
