	Nick Calegari Rucker’s Memorial Wednesday, November 12th, will be a day that every firefighter in Marin County will remember for the rest of their lives. Steve Ruckers Memorial was held yesterday at the Marin Civic Center to honor the fallen Captain from Novato. As I prepared myself for the day’s event, I was not sure what to expect. I knew who Steve Rucker was, but I never was given the chance to officially meet him. From what I had heard before he was a wonderful father, husband, and a highly skilled firefighter/paramedic. I arrived at the memorial with the Chief of our department Jim Galli, one of our engineers Ned Fox, and Tom Barnard who is another fire fighter.
