Rebel Without A Cause is a story that in general that talks about teenagers and the family problems they were facing. Problems in either miscommunication, rejecting, or ignoring and not caring for the kids. These problems, which make the teenagers miss leaded in the wrong path of life that they may never recover from. This story involves 3 main characters Jim, John, and Judy. Which in the beginning of the movie the three of them were in the same place, which is the police station. That shows us a strong metaphoric meaning that the three characters have something in common which brings them to the police station. All three of them where there because of problems they are facing with their parents. Jim was there because he was really drunk and lying down in the middle of the street. He was in his situation because as he says his parents are taking him apart. They always argue never on the same page. Each one of them wants him to follow his/her rules. He doesn’t want to go back home he wants to be looked up because is angry from the inside and his parents don’t understand him and he is mad at his father because he is the women in the marriage. He consider his father a chicken because he is afraid from Jims mom, which makes him ashamed from his parents. When we come to Johns problem in the police station, he was there because he has shot puppies with his mom’s gun. Johns parents are divorced, his father went away and never came back so he is dead to John. His mom always not there for him she is always away even on his birthday she was not there, which shows us how she is not caring at all towards her only son. This makes John lonely and has no friends. So he has nothing better to do than shoots the puppies with the gun, because his life is boring.
