English 6 Turning Point “Turning point”, a Major event that can suddenly changes the personality of one. One of the major turning points in my life was when one of my favorite people in the world died of heart attack, I stopped believing in god. From that point on, my family never knew the real me. Even now I have to keep my beliefs in a closed box just to keep the positive image of myself that I have towards my parents. I know if I let the truth out, I will be recognized as the iconoclast person by my family. The only choice I have is to keep pretending who I am not, keep showing my parents that I still do believe in god. My grandfather was only 60 years old when he died. He was the most magnanimous person that I have ever met. He would always help out anyone he could just to know that will make them happy.
