... The story of the Mackinac Bridge is no different. Despite its beauty, the Mackinac Bridge’s road to completion was paved with numerous challenges and adversity. From conception to completion, human involvement, monetary issues, and Mother Nature hindered the construction of Michigan’s Mackinac Bridge.
