Unemployment in Hawaii
Every nation has their problems and troubles and with every government comes a different way to handle those problems. One problem that every country has in common is unemployment. Unemployment is when a person does not hold a job during the week that they can go to and earn money to support themselves and their families. Not only will I discuss the many types of unemployment, but also how unemployment affects families, the unemployment rate in Hawaii, and what our government plans to do to stop this economic crisis. Unemployment plagues over 100,000 families every day and there must be something we can do about it.
There is not only one type of unemployment. ... There is frictional, structural, seasonal, and cyclical unemployment. Frictional unemployment is when workers move from one job to another. If a person is unhappy with their job, and go to find another this is frictional unemployment.

One in three children in the state of Hawaii that are incarcerated in juvenal facilities, one of their parents at one time lost their jobs and left home.
Our entire country faces the problem of unemployment and poverty, but like all states Hawaii has a story of it’s own.
