This practice of polygamy came under attack by social activists very similar to how slavery and alcohol had. The Morrill Act, the Poland Act, the Edmunds Act, and the Edmunds-Tucker Act all had different provisions, yet were all aimed at the same goal of stopping polygamy. ...
