Faith – English Presentation Historically, faith is defined as the complete acceptance of a set of guidelines and of the absolute authority of God in what he reveals or promises to reveal. Faith: a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality" Faith, an attitude of the entire self, including both will and intellect, directed towards a person, Faith indeed includes belief but goes far beyond it. It is also known that the sinful human being couldn’t achieve a good life through good works, but only through faith in the free grace of God. Example of Faith: Faith is trust. You are sitting in a chair, and have faith that it won't drop you to the floor. Trust is established through experience. At some point you were introduced to chairs, and learned that (except in rare occasions) they won't let you down.
