Prosecutors Unveil Charges In Currency-Trading Probe A WALL STREET JOURNAL ONLINE NEWS ROUNDUP NEW YORK -- Federal prosecutors on Wednesday announced charges against 47 people allegedly involved in a foreign-exchange scam that bilked more than a thousand investors out of tens of millions of dollars. Manhattan U.S. Attorney James Comey and officials of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at a press conference Wednesday morning unveiled charges against currency traders from a raft of companies, including J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., UBS AG, Societe Generale and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Other firms involved include Tullett Liberty, Tradition North America, Madison Deane & Associates, Montgomery Sterling Inc., Hamilton Sterling, Evergreen Trading, Itradecurrency USA LLC and Harlow LLC, a unit of Garban.
