Brotherly Love Brothers don’t often get along or enjoy each others company. They fight, argue, and even sometimes have feelings of hate for each other. They can inflict physical and emotional harm upon one another, say or do things in the heat of the moment that may seem unreal to onlookers. However, one thing that overcomes all of this is the natural love that they possess for each other. I personally have had many battles with my brother, senior to me by only six years, ranging from competing in a sporting event to a territorial debate. We have inflicted scars and tears on one another on countless occasions. However, the love that we have for each other over powers all of these past experiences. About eleven years ago, while living in a rough neighborhood on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, my brother and I would walk home from school everyday. My mom had just bought me a brand new pair of basketball shoes for my birthday, and I was very excited about them, keeping them clean and only wearing them on clear days. My brother was aware of the fact that I loved my shoes and would often times tease me about them, joking that he would step on them or scuff them when I wasn’t looking.
