Genetic engineering pertaining to the experimentation with cloning humans should not be permitted because it tampers with and destroys the natural and unique DNA make-up of a being. Cloning can be very dangerous and comes with many risks. Though many scientists may think it’s a good idea, and think it can lead to important discoveries, such as improvement in health or a result in a more productive life, the unfamiliarity to the topic can lead to hazardous results. Along with scientific unfamiliarity comes the more religious and immoral perspectives against cloning. The immorality of human cloning goes against what God made – God’s will. The genetic make-up of a human being is unique. No other person in the world has an identical make-up as someone else. Many failed attempts at cloning shows the uncertainty and downsides of it, leading to undesirable finalizations. Although not human, experiments on Dolly the sheep had many downsides and fatal results. Many sheep died before they were born, and those able to live were born with serious problems and defects. This proves greater risks in cloning humans and a very minute percentage of success.
