CRITICAL THINKING QUESTIONS 1. Yes I do believe that the society that I live in is on an unsustainable path. I believe this because today’s society does not care about the resources or products they use because they feel that they are unlimited resources. Yes I do believe that it is possible for today’s society to become sustainable in the next 50 years. I believe in the future that there will be technological advances that will be substitute for nature harming energy sources. They will eliminate pollution and there will be advances in recycling. 2. Yes I do favor instituting policies designed to reduce population growth and stabilize the size of the world’s population as soon as possible and in my country. I agree with this because I think population is rising at an unhealthy rate. I think that if population growth increases at the same rate, as it is today that the world will become too populated to sustain itself. Three of my policies would be one; I would make a two child per a family rule so that for example large Mexican families with nine children will no longer exist.
