Movies have influenced so many people in so many things, whether good or bad. In my opinion, I truly think movies have so many effects on so many different kinds of people. Three years ago I watched a movie called the Shawshank Redemption. It was one of those movies you sit up at night thinking about. The Shawshank redemption narrates a story about a guy imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. Exoneration was impossible, and the only solution was to take things in his own hands. The movie is acted in the most beautiful way, and goes through the life span of two or three characters, greatly bringing the viewers into it. The prisoner eventually is able to dig a hole using a small hammer, through the stone walls of the prison, and escaping through the hole he had been working on for a decade. The story has so many metaphors and so much advice for the viewers. During the life of the prisoner, it shows us in explicit details how he used to dig and hide the dirt in his pockets and empty it outside on his breaks without being noticed by anyone, not even his best friend.
