“…At the sound of the tone it will be exactly 7:00am…beep.” I hopped out of the bed, showered, and was ready to face a beautiful September 11th in 30-minutes flat. Since the day was so lovely, I decided to take the train over the bridge to catch a view of Manhattan, rather than take the local train through the tunnels. Luckily, the train stalled for a few minutes on the bridge, so I got the chance to reminisce on my last few years when I worked at One World Trade Center. It had only been 3-months since my group moved to the corporate-headquarters located in midtown, and I wasn’t happy about it. Little did I know what tragedies were in store for New York, and myself that day. I walked into the office about 8:50am, turned on the computer, and began dialing into my voice mail, which was controlled out of the World Trade Center. I couldn’t get into either system. “How strange” I thought to myself. “I can see the computer being down, or the phone being down, but both the computer and telephone down at once?
