The definition of leadership is the ability to influence a group toward the achievement of goals. ... In order to turn around a company with poor sales, undesirable products, and tremendous debt, Chrysler required a person with highly developed leadership skills. The six traits of leadership: drive and ambition, the desire to lead others, honesty and integrity, self-confidence, intelligence and in-depth technical knowledge related to the area of responsibility, were all part of Iacocca’s effort to make Chrysler successful. ... ” (Swinfin)
