#2. Gandhi did not believe in striking back with violence, he practiced peaceful ways of getting what he wanted. He figures that if he fights back using no violence and never giving up, his enemy will eventually gain respect fro him. He decides that when he gets back to India he will dress like the Indians who are imprisoned opposed to the British suit and tie. He stands up to people who make fun of him for his race. #3. Gandhi makes the speech about how without India coming together, it will not become a free home ruled nation. He travels into a small village in India by train and talks to a dying man who has no money to pay rent with because no one is buying the Indigo that he makes.
