In the first play, Oedipus the King the thoughts regarding politics implied
here are political strife, tyranny and much domestic chaos is ensued for the
political effect are the laws of same-mindedness are made during King Creons rule
who has succeeded Oedipus as ruler after the assassination of King Liaus. ... It appears that as in the play, Oedipus exiles himself for being a victim
