“Battle of Manassas”
On July 21st 1861 the Battle of Manassas or “Bullrun” took place on a battlefield in Virginia. The battle of Manassas was the most decisive tactical victory the Confederates had during the Civil War. The battle slowed down any of the Union efforts to invade Virginia’s heartland and rose the moral of the Confederates to a dangerous high.
