... One area where the Internet is becoming used is to gained education without the need to ever enter a classroom. When studying, fellow students are using Internet to email their tutors, to download information for assignment, to submit their homework, to participate in class discussions and debates online, and even to view lectures that have been recorded and placed on the Internet.
In introducing the subject of online education it is important to note that it is not only applicable at tertiary level, it should be for all levels. The possibilities for primany and secondary school education to be gained through an online learning experience are already being considered. Students and taking laptops into the classroom, and those not able to attend class now have only limited disadvantages as many schools are beginning to provide a variety of online learning materials accessible at anytime.
This report is will consider some of the ways in which the Internet is being used in the modern education. It will be set up in four sections, they are: the changes in the ways of education, effectiveness of online education, conclusion and recommendations. ... 1 Definition of on-line education
There are many terms for online education. Some of them are: virtual education, Internet-based education, web-based education, and education via computer-mediated communication.
