September 11, 2001 there was a terrorist attack on United States soil. This was the first ever recorded attack here on US soil, so consequently the people of the US wanted revenge on whoever did this. The word “terrorism” doesn’t have one set definition and is argued over all the time. Although we call it terrorism, others may call it something else because there is no set meaning. Soon after the attack on the world trade center, there were pictures all over the televison and internet of Osama Bin Laden(the supposed architect of the attacks on 9-11.) with AK 47s at his terrorist camps shooting off rounds. The same pictures were all over the internet and tv when the Oklahoma City bombings took place. Soon after the real perpetrator was pointed out, the images of Bin Laden were quickly removed from the mass media, and there were not many questions asked about them. The information that the Bush administration had said nothing of Osama Bin Laden planning the attacks. As it turns out the Bush administration claimed that the CIA gave them the false information, thus blaming it on someone else. And the CIA of course is never wrong, so in the end no one is faulted for the war in Afghanistan. The news never asked many of the critical questions that needed to be answered. So many of the issues were left in the dark where they were left undisturbed. Six weeks before the planes went into the world trade center, there was a message sent out to all the “important” people in the US that told them not to fly in any airplanes in the next several weeks. This has been recorded and people have told the news about this, but still not many questions have been asked and things were left in the dark.
