Naruto-Kun, Sasuke-kun and Sakura-Chan

Our house was foreclosed on in Nov of 2002 and now we are getting letters from the mortgage company saying they are getting ready to foreclose on our property and are wanting to know our intentions. We tried to work with the Mortgage company when all of this started happening but they wouldn't work with us. We fell behind in our payments when we had to keep fixing the house plus pay an attorney to try and fight a coal mining company that put a tunnel directly under our house and in our opinion and the attorney's opinion caused the house to start falling apart but that's another story. I contacted the mortgage company about the letters and they told me the foreclosure was being resended. Not sure what this means? I then contacted the attorney that originally handled the foreclosure sale and the person I spoke with isn't sure why it's being resending but it has something to do with the wrong bid price being on the documents. They are now wanting to know if we will work with them to try and avoid a civil lawsuit against us. They want us to talk to the company holding the second mortgage to see if they can be bought out if the balance on the loan isn't for to much and if both mortgage companies agree then the first mortgage company wants us to sign a deed in lieu agreement. Does this help us in anyway? WIll it take the foreclosure off of our credit report? If they don't agree on the 2nd mortgage price what happens if they go to foreclosure again? Can they put us through this all over again? What about the 240 days we had to buy the property back after the foreclosure? That has since past and this started back again well after the 240 days. Are we going to be held responsible for something they didn't put down on paper correctly? Can they take us with a civil lawsuit since it has already been foreclosed on once? It's even in the deed book at the court house.
