HUNTING REGULATIONS There are around 289 256 hunters (statistics from 15 January 2001) in Finland who pay the annual game management fee (the hunting card). In order to hunt in Finland, one must have the above mentioned Finnish hunting card hunting rights or hunting permit granted by a land owner or holder of hunting rights a firearms licence in cervine and bear hunting, a certificate of a passed shooting test for certain species of game, a huntig licence. The hunting of large game is stricly regulated. The hunting season is scheduled. ... As to the hunting card, everyone wishing to hunt must pay a game management fee to the state each hunting year. The receipt for making this payment will serve as a hunting card for that particular year. ... Before the hunter purchases a hunting hard, he or she must pass a hunting examination. In order to obtain a Finnish hunting card, a foreign hunter must present a huntig card valid in his native country or some other certificate of his or her right to hunt in his/her own country.
