His panic attacks came on strongly and without warning. He didn’t know what was causing them or why they were happening to him. This case study is about a man, who up until his first panic attack, thought he lived a normal life. He was a writer for the hit TV show, Seinfeld, he was living in LA and he thought he was fine. His panic attacks began while driving to an airport on a freeway, which is something he had done dozens and dozens of times before, with no problem. He didn’t know what was going on. EMTs attended to him, and found that physically, everything was in great working order. He then went on to the hospital and found that he was slightly dehydrated. When he arrived home in LA, he just told himself that he had just had a bad day. Two days later, while driving on another freeway, he had another panic attack.
