Ontological Argument

Saint Anselm’s ontological argument for the existence of God is very persuasive and can be clearly defined by the following. ... Saint Anselm’s argument states and proves strong support for his given points which again makes the argument overall very persuasive. ... However the following argument provides evidence that God in fact must exist already lying out a strong base that this argument is indeed persuasive. Based on the following reason and Saint Anselm’s argument God is a creator, all powerful and omnipotent and while God cannot be proved not to exist he can be proved to exist.
In his argument people have said there is no God, however these people when they hear that God is “than which nothing greater can be conceived” understand what they have just heard and therefore it is in their understanding. ... ” In short as is the basis for much of his argument what Saint Anselm has stated is mostly self explanatory. ... ”
Thus it can be seen by the above summarization of Saint Anselm’s argument how he uses the concept of God actually being “than which none greater can be concieved” and the concepts of understanding in the hearing, understanding and existence.
Lastly to clearly define whether or not the ontological argument for the existence of God is persuasive or not requires a recap analysis and combination of the former two points.
