Mise-en-scene refers to how scenes are framed and staged when appearing in a film, it’s sometimes used as a way to pick the pieces of a move and write about it.
Bordwell and Thompson, film Art P.199 defined Mise-en-scene “As a set of techniques that helps compose film shot in space and time, setting, lighting, costume and figure behaviour interact to create patterns of movement of colour and depth, line and shape, light and dark. ...
