E3- A realistic rationale for the development of a coherent marketing mix for the product or service.
C4- Well reasoned proposals for your marketing mix, linked clearly to information generated by the analysis.
The marketing mix is about the 4 P’s. They are Product, Price, Place and promotion.
PRODUCT
There are four marketing activities during the product lifecycle.
They are:
• abThe Launch- At this stage of the product lifecycle the product is still a question mark. ... Try to raise customer awareness about the product. ...
• abGrowth of the product- This is the realisation that the product may actually go into production. Not that many Products get to this stage of production because they aren’t good enough and the company does not think that there is a gap in the market or that the product is good enough for people to want it. The company may wish to expand production, distribution, have extra stocks and maybe even make extra shelf space available for the product.
