The Phantom Captain. What constitutes the phantom captain? The first word, “phantom”. A phantom is an image that appears only in the mind; an illusion. The second word, “captain”. A captain is one who commands, leads, or guides others. ... Man is a machine being captained by that which society proclaims as the Phantom Captain. The Phantom Captain may be an entities soul or even life. The Phantom Captain is a force which defines man’s thoughts and actions, in an abstract manner, as well as his entire state of being, through the concepts of reality, self-control and utopia. ... The Phantom Captain is what defines one’s reality to an individual. ... The notion of the Phantom Captain is primarily driven by a cosmic approach of thinking, for it is a belief, and an intangible concept. Since the Phantom Captain is defined as one’s driving force and primarily an individual’s think tank, whatever one’s Phantom Captain wishes to make reality for a person becomes reality for that individual, thus defining one’s reality. ... In a way, the phantom captain could very well be the Almighty, or rather the connection each human being has with the Almighty. ... There is no correct or incorrect reality; rather one’s Phantom Captain manipulates the brain into perceiving a single absolute reality.
