History and Legends of Pizza
How many of you use to love pizza when you were a child? Or even better how many of you still consider pizza to be one of your favorite foods? I remember when I was younger, how excited My siblings and I would get when we found out we were going to have pizza for dinner. To this day, I can honestly say I still get excited when I think about eating pizza. I have worked in an Italian restaurant for the past 31/2 years called benitos pizza and passiblities. So as you can imagine I am around pizza the majority of my time. But how often do the people eating the food stop to consider the history? Today I am going to tell you about the history of pizza , The different pizza styles, and some interesting facts behind it. All of my information came from the Internet just type in the history of pizza, and a whole bunch of different sites pop up.
First, I will start by telling you a little about the History behind pizza. For those of you who are not familiar with what pizza is ( which I am sure everyone is) Pizza is a baked pie of Italian origin consisting of a shallow bread like crust covered with seasoned tomato sauce, cheese and often other toppings such as sausage or olive.
