In Canada and the United States of America electronic waste is not considered “hazardous,” therefore making it perfectly legal to send the waste to industrial countries. ... Awareness of this issue should be raised so companies are forced to follow strict guidelines on where they can dispose of their electronic waste. The people of Guiyu base their livelihood on the jobs which are created by electronic waste. ... ” We are not displaying this, when it concerns out electronic waste.
