Going on a one week vacation to Quito, Ecuador this summer was one of the best trips I’ve had in a long time. You never know what to expect before arriving but once you get there you know it’s going to be hard to leave everything at the end. I’ve been traveling on planes my whole life, but once I step foot on that plane the worry of something going wrong always crosses my mind. Just my luck our plane was experiencing trouble so we had to sit on board for what seemed like hours, which gave me more time to think about flying. Finally the plane was set for take off. As our plane speeded down that runway, I started praying that we would make it all the way across the ocean and land safely on another continent. I tried to sleep during the flight but the uncomfortable seats and the ten inch foot room space kept me awake through out the endless trip. Watching both movies and eating our “delicious” airplane food kept my mind off the fact that we were thousands of feet up in the sky.
