I use the word breeding because some people feel that by Napster offering free music between all the users infringement only becomes more popular, and therefore more and more musicians and their labels are losing sales from albums. All in all Napster says that the district courts decision for injunction was based on the conclusion that the directory was being widely used for illegal distribution of copyrighted music. What Napster wants to know is why this decision would not affect other directory services that exchange information that could indisputably be legally exchanged in other ways.
