In what most likely was the match-up of the week, R. Lang and M. Hossa combined for 5 goals as the OS Llamas tied the LA Storm 71.8-67.4. V. Lecavallier was able to pull off a late goal which propelled the UA past the Titans in a narrow victory by the score of 39.6-33.8. The Phoenix Typhoons were able to shock the Orlando Renegades without P. Forsberg by a score of 48-42.6. The Chicago White Eagles continued their downward spiral Lang and Hossa carried the Llamas Offense as the Boston Bruisers and M. Recchi easily disposed of them by a score of 53.2 to 15. M. Lombardi received his 1st UHL Hat Trick as the Elliot Lake Ice defeated the Buffalo Blizzard, 51.4-27.2. The Miami Knights were able to get back into the win column as S. Fedorov and J. McLennen led them to a 37.2-23.8 victory over the Manitoba Mammoth. D. Hasek took control against the Detroit Motorheads as the Reapers won 67-32.4. R. Dimaio and S. Young scored late goals to propel the NJFDU Lovebirds to a 31-20.2 decision over the Ottawa Griffins. The Edmonton Warriors continued their winning ways by upending the Hitmen, 62.8-22.6. The Red Hawks defeated the Moose 64.2 to 28.4, as J. Sakic stole the show on the offensive end. RULES 1. Anyone may enter The Ultimate Hockey League 2. This league is FREE to play. 3. One team is allowed per person. 4. Owners/General Managers must keep in mind that although this is intended to be a competitive simulation, the main idea is to have fun. 5. Teams will draft a total of 17 players for their roster consisting of 3 centers, 3 right wings, 3 left wings, 6 defensemen, 2 goalies.
